Just want to share....

It has been a will since I last wrote in this blog, infact it has been a will since I even write in ENGLISH hahaha...so much so last week has been full of activities,Alhamdulillah...it has been a blessing from god, as it is because of him, under his WILL I manage to attend 2 magnificant dialogues, organised by Northumbria Islamic Society(newcastle's neighbour)....and for your information, just to add up to your general knowledge, newcastle's area was once called northumbria...northumbria was a kingdom,it was later renamed newcastle, only god knows why,but some say the name newcastle came from one of the castle in the city, maybe, who knows.

So back to reality, the good things about the dialogues was that
1)it presented reknown speakers in the likes of Abdur Rahim Green(british revert),Hamzah Tzoktis(greece-US revert),Abu Usamah(african-british revert-imam),a representative from LUTON MUSLIM and Andy Sykes (ex-BNP-British National Party)

2)it was attended by all racial colours and religious backgrounds, the hall for the first dialogue was full, some even had to stand, and it remained like that for 2 and a half hour, masyaallah, the power of dakwah.

The first dialogue was given by Abdur Rahim Green and Hamzah and the title was GOD DELUSION OR TRUTH?!.
I particularly like the analogy brought forward by Green,he pointed at a door at the front of the hall and ask the audience, what do they think was behind that door?.A lady answered, there must be some sort of an exit pathway or something. He replied, Are you sure?Do you work here?.
He continued saying that basically the unseen things(ghaib) are like the door. You can here plenty of stories of what lies behind the door, might be nothing,or maybe there a man sitting on a table,or maybe even a green monster!!you might hear dozen of descriptions of what lies behind it and yet you can never prove it, unless you have been there. So, same goes to the life of the hereafter, some say they are none, the Atheist and they too have scholars, some say that you will be reborn, karma, the belief in doing good will turn you into good things, and bad sins will eventually turn you into cockcroaches, some say there are heaven and hell, and your deeds would weigh you to determine where is your final destination, and yet there are some cases where divine intervention would save you from the hell fire, and we here many stories of it one of which was the story of the prostitute who gave water to a stray dog,IKHLAS in your AMAL can save you.......and there is only one truth to all these claims.....the one who has the key to the door, like what Green ask early,Do You Work here?because the only person who could give you all the answer, would be the one who works there, because only he has the secret to all.......and we as human being have to find that someone...........verily that person is Muhammad swt.....may we be among the believers amiin..

Now,about the second dialogue...It was entitled,Extrimism-The Darker Side...this time it was conveyed by Abu Usamah who is a revert and now working as an Imam, and has a very good arabic pronounciation, subhanallah a revert and yet gives so many back to the society,to the ummah, which makes me wonder, what impact have i made in this world for the length of 20 years god has given me...Allah forgive me....what trigger me was during the Q&A a white man ask Abu Usamah why did he scold his children when they did not pray or do wajib things, which Usamah did mention before that,as the white man said, what Abu Usamah did was against the teachings of freedom of choice.I was shock by the question,I tried to answer it in my heart,I couldnt,I ask a friend who was sitting beside me,he too had no idea.....but calmly the Luton Muslim representative(cant remember his name, sorry, but I do remember that he is a head teacher at one of the madrasah in london, and he has a mission against extrimist muslims) answered,he ask the white man, would he scold his son if he knew that he was playing with a knife,or would he scold his daughter if she was playing with hot water,or running on a high level corridor with short fences?certainly he would!....same goes with what Abu Usamah did.He simply wouldnt dare to leave his sons and daughters astray,as he wouldnt dare to leave his children playing at dangerous zones..........see how beauty the answer was,i dont know about you, but i was stunned, amazed to be exact,i would not even though of answering it like that....subhanallah....god make me your pawn in this world..to be your daie...amin.....

  2. Attended Sheikh Abdul Rahim Green's talk sometime in 2008. Very eloquent speaker. Kept us all captivated. That's the thing about reverts. How true the sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), 'Those who are the best during Jahiliyya, are the best when they are muslims'. Allahuakbar!
